University Hospitals have been severely challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic: innovation is needed to cope with the backlog of care and unmet need caused by the crisis. This week, the Geneva University Hospital, as part of the IHF University Hospitals Special Interest Group, have published a study outlining the practices needed within hospitals to foster innovation. The purpose of this booklet is to provide readers with an overview of experimented practices validated by innovation experts which are conducive to the development, implementation, and sustainability of innovation in healthcare settings.
