Hospitals fighting against COVID-19: should we be concerned about litigation post-pandemic?

The risks for hospitals fighting COVID-19 are numerous. Among them, broadly defined medico-legal risks should be taken into consideration, especially in times of severe operational stress on hospitals and their personnel. This podcast is aiming at identifying the areas of errors, defining susceptibility to future litigation, proposing possible preventive measures and addressing risk-minimizing strategies.

Prof. Fedorowski is an international physician executive. He is also the founder and president of the Polish Hospital Federation, governor and member of the President’s Committee at European Hospital and Healthcare Federation HOPE. He is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) with certifications in internal medicine, cardiology and managed care. He also hold a PhD in medical economics, an MBA in healthcare administration. He serves as a professor at Collegium Humanum Warsaw Management University in epidemiology, public health, healthcare management, professionalism in medicine and integrated care.
