Description: The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service public oral health service evaluation used lean methodology techniques to assess the capacity, demand, and utilisation of oral health services. It used retrospective data, time and motion study, and workforce engagement as combined strategies for data informed decision making to plan patient flow and capacity management. This work was able to transfer information to intelligence for data informed decision making.
