Description: Storage of experienced staff is probably the most common challenge faced by healthcare organizations in different economies. This problem affects not only healthcare services sustainabliliy, but also clinical experience transfer. In our department, 60% of the nurses are having less than 3 years of experience. Most of them are university graduates who are well-trained in theory. However, they have limited clinical exposure. Dynamic case sharing provides an active learning environment for them to learn from each other and challenge the learners to analyze the problems (West et al., 2012), helping them to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real practice. This initiative aims to alleviate the problem of shortage of experienced manpower through staff empowerment. It also provide an opportunities for staff to identify quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care outcomes.
