Through a generous donation from Dr Kwang Tae Kim, former President and Honorary Member of the IHF, we are proud to announce the establishment of the Dr Kwang Tae Kim Trust Fund.
The Trust Fund’s aims are to expand IHF membership, sponsor YEL participants, support the Dr Kwang Tae Kim Grand Hospital Award, strengthen IHF’s long-term financial position and support other worthwhile programmes across the organization.
The Trust Fund’s grant process will reach potential Members from low income and lower middle income countries (according to the World Bank classification).
Each grant will cover the recipient’s membership costs for the initial two years.
Please refer to the Terms of Reference here for further information.
For any questions about the current availabilities to get a grant and about the application process, please send an email to ihf.secretariat@ihf-fih.org.
To support the development of aspiring healthcare leaders, the Trust Fund will sponsor Young Executive Leaders (YEL) programme participants from low- and lower-middle-income countries. This will include access to valuable networking opportunities such as attendance at the World Hospital Congress. The application to the grant takes place during the application to the YEL programme. The selection of the recipient will be based on need (i.e., low-income settings) and on the merits of their request.
For more details about the YEL and the sponsorship, please send an email to ihf.secretariat@ihf-fih.org.
The Trust Fund is managed by the IHF Secretariat and overseen by the Executive Committee.
The IHF warmly thanks the following for their generous contributions to the Trust Fund:
