World Hospitals and Health Services: the official journal of the International Hospital Federation. First launched in 1929 as Nosokomeion, World Hospitals and Health Services is published four times a year. The journal includes features such as surveys, country profiles, case studies, feature articles from leading figures, academic articles focusing on practical operational matters together with advertising. It also features news of global events and IHF activities and conference diary. All IHF members receive World Hospitals and Health Services free of charge. Its readership in over 100 countries includes managers, architects, engineers, doctors, nurses, members of hospital boards, ministries of health, hospital associations, libraries and commercial firms in the health field.
