Partnerships and Collaborations

IHF works with partners who share its goals. The IHF is in official relations with the World Health Organisation. It also maintains good working relationships with a number of other international organisations, including:

• ISQua, The International Society for Quality in Health Care Inc.

• International Council of Nurses

• Hospital Committee of the European Community

• World Dental Federation

• International Pharmaceutical Federation

• International Network Towards Smoke-free Hospitals

IHF is also working in collaboration with the Health Research and Educational Trust (HRET), the research affiliate of the American Hospital Association (AHA), to host an international health workforce migration conference.

The IHF has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the WHO's World Alliance for Patient Safety to work with them on a variety of patient safety projects.
