Events
The International Hospital Federation participates in worldwide events and organizes events in different regions of the world at least every second year. The Biennial Congress represents IHF’s primary event. IHF aims to ensure that the congress rotates from region to region in accordance with criteria agreed by the Governing Council. The next Congress will be held in Oslo in June 2013. For more information please consult http://www.oslo2013.no.
IHF also collaborates closely with Regional Organizations in organizing events on subject areas that address the needs of the host regions. The regionally-hosted events (Pan-regional or others) are supported by the Biennial Congress. Through this support and involvement, IHF wishes to contribute to regional management development as well as establishing a presence in the area.
