Health Care in Canada, 2011: A Focus on Seniors and Aging (HCIC) is the 12th in a series of annual reports on the health care system and the health of Canadians.
As in many developed countries, Canada's population is aging, and Canada's seniors are healthier and living longer than ever before. This report examines the impact of a growing seniors population on the health care system and considers ways in which the system may need to adapt in the future. This year, HCIC will be accompanied by aprovincial/territorial summary product that consolidates key content and provides additional detailed analysis where possible.
